Michelle Lujan Grisham Endorsed by Albuquerque Journal

ALBUQUERQUE – Democratic Congressional Nominee Michelle Lujan Grisham was endorsed today by the Albuquerque Journal. The Journal also endorsed Lujan Grisham in the three-way primary election in June.

The Journal highlighted Lujan Grisham’s diverse experience and record of accomplishment as a Bernalillo County commissioner, an aggressive leader who served under Democrat and Republican governors in state government, and her successful small business that helps people with pre-existing conditions get access to health care.

“She can be expected to sustain that type of energy and fairness in Washington and should be elected to represent New Mexico in U.S. House District 1,” the Journal said in its endorsement.

“Lujan Grisham’s record of serving under both Democratic and Republican governors shows she is not a lock-step partisan. In the House of Representatives, she would be likely to reach across the aisle to fight for issues important to New Mexico.

“The Journal endorses Michelle Lujan Grisham for U.S. House District 1.”
