Michelle Lujan Grisham Outlines Positive Vision for Middle Class

Opponent Turns Negative in Desperate Attempt to Revive Campaign: (ALBUQUERQUE) Democratic Congressional Nominee Michelle Lujan Grisham took the high road and outlined a positive vision for restoring the middle class, as her opponent resorted to negative attacks during the final debate of the general election.

Lujan Grisham continues to stand out as the only candidate with a real record of accomplishment and concrete plans for creating jobs and putting New Mexicans back to work. Sunday’s live TV debate, hosted by KOAT-TV 7, was the final of nine debates and forums between the two candidates.

“Too many New Mexicans are worried about keeping their jobs or even having one; and too many are going without health care; our children don’t have the same educational opportunities that we once had,” Lujan Grisham said during the debate.

“As your candidate for Congress, you deserve to know where I stand and what I’ll do.

I’ll be a champion for the middle class. I will fight to put New Mexicans back to work. And I will protect a women’s right to make her own healthcare decisions.”
